This licence upgrade enables holders of valid Visual Lint 1.0 or 1.5 Standard Edition licences to upgrade them to Visual Lint 2.0 Professional Edition.

Visual Lint Professional Edition includes all of the features of Visual Lint Standard Edition, with the addition of the following:

• Customised solution and project specific lint configurations.
   
• Selection of which projects in a solution should be included in Background Lint Analysis, either via the Analysis Status Display or (in VS2002 onwards) a context menu command in the Solution Explorer.
   
• Whole project (i.e. non-unit checkout) background analysis.
   
• Customisable lint issue categories.
   
• Customisable report stylesheets.
